Avenue of Heroes Banner Program

The St. James Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the 2026 Avenue of Heroes Banner Program, a community tribute created to honor the men and women who have served, or are currently serving, our country. From Memorial Day through Veterans Day, commemorative banners will be displayed along Lake Avenue, turning a familiar part of town into a place of remembrance, gratitude, and pride.

Each banner features a Veteran or Active Duty service member’s name, photo, and branch of service, along with the name of the sponsor. Together, these banners offer a visible reminder that service and sacrifice are part of our community’s story, and that St. James remembers its Heroes.

This program is open to families, friends, businesses, and organizations who want to recognize someone special. Whether you are honoring a loved one or supporting a Hero you admire, sponsoring a banner is a meaningful way to show appreciation in a way the whole town can see.

Thank You to Our St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sponsors

The St. James Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes and thanks the generous sponsors who made the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Grand Marshal Celebration possible. Through the support of local businesses, healthcare organizations, community groups, and civic leaders, this beloved community tradition continues to bring residents together in celebration.

This year’s Gold Sponsor, Moloney Family Funeral Homes, provided leading support for the event. Silver Sponsors included King Kullen, Catholic Health St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, and the Smithtown Rotary Club. Additional Community Sponsors—including Branch Funeral Homes, Knights of Columbus Council 1283, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Ed Wehrheim, AJ’s Garage Auto Repair, and Renewal by Andersen—also played an important role in supporting the celebration.
